I’m gonna be…

pimpin’ by my birthday in 3 weeks! Today started out very well and ended the same way. Me and MM did some running around before I met up with Kai and I finally, finally, got my new glasses ordered! They are different from the ones me and Kai looked at back in December(? can’t remember exactly when… maybe it was after? who cares) or whenever we looked at them. I couldn’t find the pair that him and I had looked at before and they had new ones to choose from! Oh decisions decisions!! After browsing for about 20 minutes I found 2 pairs that I LOVE. Both are plastic (I like those ones so much better than the metal frames). One has a darker lime green kind of colour on the inside and the outside is purple, but the cool thing is it has a light blue line going around the front of the frame… its looks awesome I swear. The other pair I can’t remember as much except that it has a marbling kind of design on the frame (not the horrible leopard print kind… it’s hard to explain) and I’m sure it has some kind of purple in it as well. Now when me and MM were about to purchase both pairs (YAY! I thought I would only get one, but both were pretty cheap) MM asked me if I needed sunglasses. Now everyone should know by now that I have pretty bad extremely horrible eyesight. I’m halfway to blind almost (may be a bit of an exaggeration but it’s close enough to me) so for me to have sunglasses I either need to clip-ons or get prescription ones. So I browsed their sunglass selection (BTW I went to Hakim Optical, and they didn’t have a good sunglass selection in this store) and finally found one pair that I was okay with. I bring them to the counter and she tells me about how something will change with the frames because of the stronger prescription lens that has to be put in for me, then she says that basically the only difference between sunglasses and regular glasses is adding a tint to the lens. Me and MM look at each other and she asks the clerk if we could have one of the glasses just have the tint instead of buying a pair of sunglasses, she says definitely! So now I have a new pair of glasses ordered and a new pair of prescription glasses that should be here by the time I come back up for my birthday. Adding the tint to the one pair was an additional $75, and we also added anti-glare to both which was also an additional $50, but the best part was that all together it only came up to $299!! Which to some people may sound expensive but to me for two pairs is awesome, I say this because the glasses I am currently wearing cost almost $400.. and that was for only one pair with no additional anythings added on to them. So I think I scored a deal for this.
Before we went on our Glasses Mission we went to Zellers because MM needed to pick up some stuff and so did I. I needed new foundation since mine is all gone, more face wash, again cause mine is gone, and some body wash, again I will say because it was all gone (can you sense some sort of repetition going on? maybe an echo?). Moving on. I decided I would try out the TrueBlend foundation because I have heard good things about it. Also when buying that I also purchased a blush of the same line, the blush I bought because I have hardly any left and also because it is one of the mineral kind and healthier for your skin. Now each of these was about $12 which I uber expensive compared to the $6 or $7 I normally spend on just foundation, but I thought they would be worth it if they were good for my skin and if they actually worked. I will see if they do tomorrow.
After me and MM did our running around I dropped her off at home and headed over to Kai’s, who was sleeping when I got there. He was adorable, but because I am a mean girlfriend (and also partly because I thought he was faking it) I tossed a pillow at his head
He loves me anyways, meanness and all
. We hung out and watch the first two Die Hards, which I had seen the first but not the second. We ate homemade tacos (OMFG delicious!), laughed, snuggled, and smooched. I love my man, I don’t know if I tell him that enough (although I’m sure I overdo it some days
). We then started to watch Rat Race of which I have never watched in it’s entirety. Kai was shocked and, I think, a little appalled that I have never seen it. We watched about half of it before I glanced at the clock and said “I GOTTA GO!” It was about 1 AM which normally isn’t a huge deal but I had told MM that I would be home at a reasonable time (which is around 12AM for her) and if DD is up and awake he kind of does the “tsk tsk” thing. Ugh, I hate that. So I did a kiss-and-dash and came home. Which is where I’m at right now (DD was not up), lying on my comfy bed with the space heater on, because this room gets f-ing COLD in the winter, blogging to the World Of Internet. I know I have been lacking in the posting department lately but this week I should be posting more since I will actually have time to do it.
*smiles*
So that is all I have for now, you can let your eyes stop bleeding now that my post is done. Goodnight all!
Later days!
