would like to see pictures of the ring Kai gave me you’re in luck! Because in this post I will put them up. My stupid digital camera sucks and wouldn’t take the pictures properly (they all turned out a big blurry mess ) but don’t fret! My MacBook saved my life Since it has the handy built-in camera, I was able to take some good pictures of the ring (please excuse my face in the pictures… )

Its sooo PURTY! I couldn’t have asked for anything else, it’s perfect and just what I wanted.

The ring is called a claddagh ring. 

Okay, so going back to yesterday:

I got over to Kai’s house around 1230-ish (my fam is down to one car, and my mom had to do grocery shopping… otherwise I would have been over earlier) We hung out for a while, watched movies, snuggled, and I tried to bribe him into giving me my gift early (alas he didn’t cave. He’s a stubborn man )

After we watched some movies, I had to go pick DD and Camera up from the college where they were working in the machine shop doing… stuff. As I was picking them up (me and Kai had done a car swap where I dropped him off at his aunt’s house so he could pick up his mother’s car so I could drive home and drop my car off there.. again, my fam is down to one car and MM and Camera were going to a Scout’s dinner that night) I called the engraving place where I had taken Kai’s ring. 

First off, when I took the ring in on Friday I had to wait 20 minutes to talk to anyone… and there was only 1 person in front of me. Then when I called on Saturday to see if the ring was going to get done they told me they had lost a part of machinery that was needed to engrave the ring. Fuck. I told them to call me back in an hour if they couldn’t find the piece, and if they couldn’t I would come in and get the ring and forget about the engraving. After dropping DD and Camera off at home, and dropping the car off as well, me and Kai hung out for a while and then went to the mall so I could pick up this gift and then we were going to dinner. When I got to the mall I was all kinds of pissed off, ready to be bitchy as I got my money back, but as I walked into the store the clerk says “We found the piece and got your ring done! The machinery piece was hidden behind something but we found it and completed it for you” I told her that I was very appreciative that they got it done for me, and I also told her that I was prepared to be pissy when I came in. I know she remembered me sounded pissed off when I called earlier because she said “I know, we called our boss and scoured the place looking for the piece so we could get your ring done” Good. It’s nice to know that they listen. LOL. 

After that, me and Kai went out for dinner at a yummy new place called the Panda Garden. It basically has the same premise as the Manderin, with buffets and different kinds of foods. It was DELICIOUS! I ate soo much food and was soo stuffed. After dinner we went back to his house and exchanged gifts. This may be TMI but I couldn’t stop giving him kisses after he gave me my ring. LOL. And he really liked the ring I gave him, and I think he liked the engraving part the best. 

I think that is all I have for now. Oh, another thing… I’m going back home on Friday It my March Break next week so I’m going home again. Which means that I’m not going to unpack my clothes… what would be the point if I’m just going to have to pack again in 5 days? I’m a smart cookie

Yesterday me and Kai hung out and celebrated our 1 year anniversary. We went out for dinner and exchanged gifts… and OMG. I love my man. He gave me the claddagh ring I’ve always wanted… and it’s PERFECT! It fits just right and is sooo beautiful. I will post pictures most likely tonight. And Kai liked the gift I gave him. I gave him a ring as well, it is silver and has celtic knots around the outside. And on the inside i got “i gcónaí” engraved, it means “always” in Gaelic. He liked it a lot I think.

Ok well I have to go finish packing for the ride back.

Well actually, technically, I go home tomorrow since there’s only 30 mins left of Wednesday and I’m going home Friday. So…
