I’m not sure how I feel about going back to school next week. I mean, I enjoy it and love the friends I made, I miss my own room and hanging with Shorty, I love my teachers…but I know I’m really going to miss my family and Kai. After being home for a month I remember why I love it. The craziness and laughter. The love. *sigh* And I’m going to be leaving in less than a week now. I know I will probably back at least once a month this semester, and then I’ll have march break as well, but it just won’t be the same. And leaving Kai will be a bit of a harder transition from having him almost everyday to seeing him only once a month or so. I guess I’ll have to put on my Big Girl pants and toughen it out.

Moving on from that depressing note, I have finally cleaned my Macbook. The poor thing was disgustingly dirty, fingerprints and smudges on the screen, dirt on the keyboard, and just all-in-all gross. And now its shiny and pretty. I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to clean it with a soft cloth and stuff… well I just used a barely-damp paper towel and wiped the whole thing down. And I’ve realized that having my own Macbook has biased and ruined me for other keyboards. I find it very difficult to type on any keyboard but my own, which ends up just frustrating the hell out of me. Every time I have to type on the computer upstairs or at Kai’s (or even at school) I sit there and mumble to myself about how stupid the keyboards are and how my fingers don’t hit the keys right. Making me type stupid words with extra letters. I mean I’m used to being able to type without having to actually look at the keyboard… and with a new one? Yeah that’s impossible.

And looking back on all I just wrote, I’m pretty sure that today is going to be a cranky day for me. I haven’t seen anyone at all so far today and I’m just finding things that make me cranky. So world beware!

Other than that, yesterday went pretty well. I ended up going with out with my parents and doing some shopping. I got a new pair of jeans that I love and a cute little pull-on sweater thing. I’ll post pictures once I have batteries for my camera (I apparently used mine up from all the times I had it on and off during the week after Christmas ) And it looks like everywhere is sold out of AA batteries. In 3 of the stores we went to yesterday they didn’t have any AA’s. So I guess I will have to try and find some, hopefully, today. 

Tomorrow seems like it will have a bit of excitement. I am going to have to be up at the ungodly hour of 8 AM. Ugh. And I have to stay up until at least 1PM because the delivery guys are going to be bringing our brand spanking new dryer anywhere from 8-1. So, in other words, I’m gonna be having a nap in the afternoon I have to make sure that after my nap, I’m up by 5 so I can hang with Kai tomorrow. 

Maybe some of the delivery men will be cute… I already have the best and sexiest man out there, but I can’t help if my eyes appreciate I’m kidding! Do you seriously think my brain will be functioning anytime before 12 o’clock? I don’t think so. I love my sleep and when I have to get up early and disrupt my beauty sleep, my brain takes a few hours to actually wake up and function
