Shake My Booties

My New Year’s Eve will definitely sound lame because neither me or Kai are big booze hounds. Basically, this is how the night went:

I picked him up from work, after some hoopla with Giant on his way to pick Kai up from work…. there was confusion but it got settled. We got back to his house and, of course, neither of us thought about when we were going to get food. So around 630 we decide we’re going to go to the grocery store to buy stuff for dinner, unfortunately for us NO GROCERY STORES WERE OPEN!! And I mean none. It was Ridiculous!! Outrageous!! Horrible!! Ok, maybe it wasn’t that devastating but Kai did get kind of pissed off that they were closed. So we ended up ordering a panzeratti (and they are HUGE!)  and, once the squabbling over who would actually pay the delivery guy, we got our food we headed downstairs, got set up, and started watching Eagle Eye (which has the cute shia labeouf in it. He’s very dashing and an awesome actor) The movie was actually a very good choice on my part. I thought the movie would be good, but it was actually kicking its way into the awesome category. Normally Kai doesn’t like my choice of movies since they tend to be something like Lord of the Rings (of which my boy isn’t into “swords and elves”) and Moulin Rouge (again, he’s not into musicals. He didn’t even like the Nightmare Before Christmas! He’s a strange one, I know), but sometimes I do pick good movies. And this was one of those times  

After eating (to the point that I figured I had turned into a pig) and finishing watching Eagle Eye, we turned on 300 and snuggled down and got comfortable. Now I have never liked the movie 300, when the previews came out I though it would be cool… then I saw the stupidness of the movie. I like the fight scenes and I guess the plot is ok. The thing that turns me off to the movie and seriously annoys pisses me off? The stupid ass slow motion, stop-start things they have going on throughout the whole freaking movie!!! So annoying. YEESH! 

Now off the topic of stupid movies. I can’t believe that I have just over a week until school starts again. I’m still not over the fact that I passed my first semester let alone that I’m going into my second! My only dilemma? My schedule is still fucked to all hell. We were told that our schedules would have Monday and Tuesday booked off from 8am-6pm for the school newspaper (so we can get stories and such done and assigned). But right now my schedule is saying that Monday is blocked off from 8am-3PM for the newspaper and then I “supposedly” have my electronic publishing class then. And then I have it again the next day. And the rest is all messed up. The only class I have thats in its proper place is my elective (Ecstasy and Agony: Addcitions) on Thursday from 9am-12pm. I hope they get this all figured out soon!

Anyways, I’m off cause MM is making some new kind of crab dip… and it sounds delicious.
