Shake My Booties

exactly 1 week left and I’m going home! woooo! I’m soooo excited! (as you can obviously tell) 

Yesterday was pretty awesome. We got our newspaper and everything else done, but I had to ditch out on Eva’s class because my side was killing me, go figure, again. I came back and took a nap hoping I could sleep the pain away. Well it worked for the most part, and when I woke up I felt a lot better and ready to work on my homework. I got my 2 magazine pages done and, if I do say so myself, they look pretty fucking awesome. Go Me! Then, since I was feeling a little better and I had some money from giving Stalker back the iPhone, me and Shorty went to the mall. I bought a cute little number that I will tell you about next Friday after Kai has seen it (so I don’t spoil the surprise) and 2 new pairs of slipper-boots, all of which I bough on sale! 

I can now live up to my nickname of Boots again. I have probably never told you the story of my nickname and will do so now. Before I left for school in August my dearest mother bought me a pair of knitted slippers from the flea market. They came up knee-high and looked like boots. I took them into work and wore them there, since they always have the air conditioner on super high and freezing cold, so my feet wouldn’t freeze. Well Kai started saying that he was gonna start calling me Boots as a nickname since I loved my “boots” so much. Low and behold the name has stuck, I never thought it would. I thought it would be a passing phase for him… but alas it wasn’t. 

Well when my bags got stolen back in October, my “boots” were gone as well since they were in the bag. So I haven’t been able to live up to my nickname ever since. Now I can. I bought 2 pairs of slippers last night and here are some very cute pics
