Shake My Booties

Boredom hit me again… actually not so much the boredom part but more so the need to get creative.

So my question is… which do you like better? the hearts from yesterdays post or the lightning bolts today?

Other than that today went pretty well. Classes went great. And I went grocery shopping…woo! lolx. I was happy to do some shopping and I got some pretty decent food so again, HAPPY.

kkz well I’m off to wash my face, clean my nose ring, talk to Kai, and probably go to bed after that. If not, I always have the rest of Hook to watch. Woooo!

I’m sorry for my mom, dad, brother, Kai and other assorted people in Sarnia who are supposed to be getting 30 cm of snow tonight.

The latter part of today was awesome. Me and Shorty went to the bank to cash my savings bonds and I ended up with more money in interest than I had planned for. So after our loooongass walk from the bak we made our way to the mall. I bought myself some cute Christmas-ey type earrings

I also got a scarf and ear muffs. The ear muffs are soooo warm! I wore them on the way back and my ears were all kinds of toasty warm

I also checked out what I’m going to get Kai and I now know for sure what I’m getting him. I’m not writing it here because I don’t know if he’ll find it or not But I’m going to pick it up this weekend that way I have it all done and completed.

I also got new eyebrow ring balls so I can change them up and make them look different. I have zebra kinda ones on. Very pretty!

So as me and Shorty were returning back to residence it started to snow. Well it had actually been snowing before that but not that bad. On the way back it started snowing a lot more. Apparently Sarnia got about a foot of snow yesterday and is supposed to be getting another foot or two tomorrow. HAHAHA!! SUCKERS! And as my mom so aptly put it “just think amy, at least you don’t have to shovel snow” And I laughed because it’s true. Shoveling snow is pretty much the bane of my existence so not having to do it (at least for the next 3 weeks till I get home) just makes me giggle with happiness

So thats pretty much it. I’m going to leave since I’m pretty sure its my smoke time again, which means getting all geared up again (takes at least 5 mins )

I went to the doctors yesterday because I was feeling gross and sick the past few weeks, and also because my side pains have returned. I’ not sure if I’ve ever explained on here why I get my side pains but I will now. I have endometriosis. This is the dictionary definition of it for those who don’t know what this is:

the presence of uterine lining in other pelvic organs, esp. the ovaries, characterized by cyst formation, adhesions, and menstrual pains.

So basically my cysts are forming on the outside of my uterus, and cause me great pain in my right side. My doctor here knows this and has sent me in for 2 ultrasounds: a pelvic and an abdominal (so they can see if the cysts have come back and maybe moved to a new location) He also ordered a full slew of blood tests to be taken. I notified him that I have low blood sugar, inherited from my dear mother, but also that at the beginning of the year as well as now I have been getting the shakes (my hands shake if my blood sugar is low) even after I’ve eaten and I’m full. So he’s checking my blood sugar, white blood cell count, other things, and as well as, I think, my liver function. I think he might be checking for diabetes.

All I know is that yesterday I kinda started freaking out when he asked for the blood, of course I only freaked out when I got back to my room, because of that seed of possible pregnancy planted by my mom in my head. Of course when I found out that the doctor wasn’t actively seeking proof of me being prego in the blood samples I calmed down.

Now I’m good.

So I have my ultrasounds booked for next Friday the 28th and I hope it all goes well. Hopefully the cysts haven’t come back because I really don’t want to go in for surgery again. Last time, in July, I went in and they said the recovery time was 2-3 days. I was down for about 5 days and it still hurt for a few weeks after the surgery was done.

Today, me and Shorty are going to the bank as I have some savings bonds to cash in, and then we are going to the mall to hang out and look around. I’m going to stop off at Claire’s and see if they have any hoops for my nose. I’ve decided that when I go back to Sarnia I’m going to go back to Snapdragon and get them to change it for me. Because heaven knows how long it will take me to get the bloody thing out, and I know there will be tears if I try.
